Following up placement....

I didn't hear anything from Tom after his holiday so I decided to get in touch myself again as I had a spare week in between two different jobs. I rang as I needed a quick answer! He said that it had been so hectic as they were currently in the middle of moving studios and hadn't been able to get any students in so far this summer, but told me to keep ringing him and it will be a case of getting in touch at the right time. I feel a little disheartened, as if I'd have realized the potential for this to not happen I'd have followed up one of my other e-mails to other agencies, but I was so chuffed to have got a placement with an agency I liked I didn't make the effort, and now its resulted on me missing out this Summer. I will keep in touch with Tom, I may get a placement at christmas (but who knows). In the meantime I am going to contact a load more agencies and try and get one for christmas.
